Ekiti IPP Limited.
Ekiti State Government sought a more cost-effective and reliable energy source to increase staff productivity and reduce greenhouse gases to create a more sustainable environment, the state government executed a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement with Ekiti IPP Limited in 2021.
Utilita recently acquired a significant shareholding in Ekiti IPP Limited (“EIPP”) which was established to develop and operate a 3.63MW plant for the Ekiti State Government to power all government infrastructure including the Secretariat, the House of Assembly, and the Offices of the Governor and Deputy Governor. Situated in Ado – Ekiti, Ekiti State, the plant will be operational in February 2023.
